These beautiful photos are by my lovely friend Raj Curry. Ruby looked gorgeous in this dress I made in collaboration with painter Anya Charikov-Mickleburgh, Anya created a large painting on silver canvaswhich I turned into a gown creating a collar of stuffed vintage gloves - both hugging and grabbing the wearer, some wearing watches, some connecting. this dress was originally created for Anya's exhibition after the death of her mother at the Russian cultural centre in London as a performamce art piece, see some photos from this event. I had to twizzle the dress a little to make it wearable for Ruby, although it was heavy! Although dark on the subject matter I updated it with Litchenstein style makeup, going for a cute Barbie feel with a tiara.
